Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 and when the seas burst beyond their bounds, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Nay! but you give the lie to the judgment day, 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 watching over you 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Indeed, the righteous shall (live) in bliss. 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
