Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Did We not expand thy breast for thee 1 relieved you of the burden 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And exalted for you your esteem? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 With hardship indeed there is ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And unto thine Lord, attend. 8
God the Almighty always says the truth.
