Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed into him of My spirit, fall you down before him in prostration!" 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 And most certainly you will come to know about it after a time. 88
