S (Saad)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Suad, I swear by the Quran, full of admonition. 1 No, the unbelievers exalt in their division. 2 How many a generation have We destroyed afore them, and they cried when there was not time of fleeing. 3 And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, and the disbelievers say: This is an enchanter, a liar. 4 "Has he made the gods (all) into one Allah? Truly this is a wonderful thing!" 5 A group of the pagans walked out of a meeting with the Prophet and told the others, "Let us walk away. Be steadfast in the worship of your gods. This man wants to dominate you. 6 “We never heard of this even in Christianity, the latest religion; this is clearly a newly fabricated matter.” 7 Hath the reminder been unto him (alone) among us? Nay, but they are in doubt concerning My reminder; nay but they have not yet tasted My doom. 8 Or, are with them the treasures of the mercy of thy Lord, the Bestower? 9 Or is it that the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them is theirs? If so, let them ascend up with means (to the heavens)! 10 A defeated host are (all) the factions that are there. 11 The people of Noah, Ad and the dominating Pharaoh had rejected Our revelations. 12 So also did the people of Thamud, Lot, and the dwellers of the Forest. 13 There was not one but belied the apostles, wherefore justified was My wrath. 14
