Say: 'I call only upon my Lord, and I do not associate with Him anyone. 20 Say: 'Surely I possess no power over you, either for hurt or for rectitude.' 21 Say: 'None shall protect me from Allah, and other than Him, I will find no refuge, 22 "Unless I proclaim what I receive from Allah and His Messages: for any that disobey Allah and His Messenger,- for them is Hell: they shall dwell therein for ever." 23 When they see that which they were promised they shall know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in numbers. 24 Say thou: I know not whether that which ye are promised is nigh, or whether my Lord hath appointed for it a distant term. 25 "He (alone) knows the Unseen, nor does He make any one acquainted with His Mysteries,- 26 Except whom He has approved of messengers, and indeed, He sends before each messenger and behind him observers 27 so as to make manifest that it is indeed [but] their Sustainer's messages that these [apostles] deliver: for it is He who encompasses [with His knowledge] all that they have [to say,] just as He takes count, one by one, of everything [that exists]. 28

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
