(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 and making its night dark and bringing forth its morning light, 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the Day when they see it, they will feel as if they had tarried in this world for only one evening or one morning. 46
