The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
