We created man out of dry clay, from moulded mud, 26 And the jinn did We create aforetime of essential fire. 27 When your Lord said to the angels, "I will create the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay. 28 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 29 All the angels prostrated themselves, 30 except Iblis; he refused to join those who prostrated. 31 The Lord inquired: "Iblis! What is the matter with you that you did not join those who prostrated?" 32 "How could I bow," said he, "before a mortal whom You created from fermented clay dried tingling hard?" 33 The Lord said: "Then get out of here; you are rejected, 34 And verily on thee shall be the curse till the Day of Requital. 35 He said: My Lord! Reprieve me till the day when they are raised. 36 He said, "You are granted respite 37 "Till the Day of the Time appointed." 38 He said, “My Lord! I swear by the fact that You sent me astray, I shall distract them in the earth, and I shall lead all of them astray.” 39 except for Your chosen servants." 40 (Allah) said: "This (way of My sincere servants) is indeed a way that leads straight to Me. 41 "Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves, except those who follow you of the Ghawin (Mushrikun and those who go astray, criminals, polytheists, and evil-doers, etc.). 42 being perverse; Gehenna shall be their promised land all together. 43 Which has several gates, and each gate is marked for every section of them." 44
