Al-nahl 12 of 16

On the Day We shall raise up from every nation a witness, then permission will not be given to the unbelievers, nor shall they be allowed to make restitution. 84 And when the wicked shall face the torment it will not be decreased, nor will they be reprieved. 85 And when those who associate (others with Allah) shall see their associate-gods, they shall say: Our Lord, these are our associate-gods on whom we called besides Thee. But they will give them back the reply: Most surely you are liars. 86 And they proffer unto Allah submission on that day, and all that they used to invent hath failed them. 87 Those who disbelieved and hindered others from the way of Allah - We shall increase for them torment upon torment for they have been spreading corruption. 88 And [mention] the Day when We will resurrect among every nation a witness over them from themselves. And We will bring you, [O Muhammad], as a witness over your nation. And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification for all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims. 89
