The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
When Earth is shaken with her (final) earthquake 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 as thy Sustainer will have inspired her to do! 5 That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
