Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you seen the one who calls the religion a lie? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And encourages not the feeding of the indigent. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 Who delay their Salat (prayer) from their stated fixed times, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 and refuse charity. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
