With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 “And do not appoint other deities along with Allah; indeed I am from Him, a clear Herald of Warning towards you.” 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not expect to receive any sustenance from them or that they should feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
