Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you seen one who denies the Day of Judgement? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And does not urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 those who do good (in order) to be seen, 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
