The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
