Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So ruin is to those offerers of prayer – 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 and refuse charity. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
