۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent into the cities summoners, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 Then We revealed to Moses: 'Strike the sea with your staff', so it divided and each part was as a mighty mount. 63 Then We brought the others to that place. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
