Verily We gave Moses the Book; so be not in doubt about his having received it; and We made it a guidance for the children of Israel. 23 And We appointed from among them leaders guiding by Our command, when they endured patiently, and had sure faith in Our signs. 24 Verily, your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection, concerning that wherein they used to differ. 25 Does it not guide them [to see] how many generations We destroyed before them, among whose ruined dwellings they now walk about? There truly are signs in this -- will they not listen? 26 Have they not seen how We drive the water to the dry land and bring forth crops therewith whereof their cattle and themselves eat? What, will they not see? 27 And they say: When cometh this victory (of yours) if ye are truthful? 28 Tell them: “If the unbelievers were to believe on the Day of Judgement that will not avail them. For then they will be granted no respite.” 29 Therefore turn away from them and wait as they are waiting. 30
