And (remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his boy-servant: "I will not give up (travelling) until I reach the junction of the two seas or (until) I spend years and years in travelling." 60 But when they reached the Junction, they forgot (about) their Fish, which took its course through the sea (straight) as in a tunnel. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said: "You see, I forgot the fish on the rock where we had stopped. Only Satan made me forget to mention this; but the wonder is the fish escaped to the sea." 63 He said: This is what we sought for; so they returned retracing their footsteps. 64 So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. 65 Moses said to him, 'Shall I follow thee so that thou teachest me, of what thou hast been taught, right judgment.' 66 He replied, "You will not be able to have patience with me. 67 “And how will you bear something which your knowledge does not encompass?” 68 He said, 'Yet thou shalt find me, if God will, patient; and I shall not rebel against thee in anything.' 69 The other said: "If then thou wouldst follow me, ask me no questions about anything until I myself speak to thee concerning it." 70

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
