Say (O Prophet): “Allah suffices as a witness between me and you. He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth. As for those who believe in falsehood and are engaged in infidelity with Allah, it is they who will be the losers.” 52 They ask you to hasten in bringing chastisement upon them. Had there not been an appointed term for it, the chastisement would have already visited them; in fact it will come down upon them all of a sudden (at its appointed time) while they will not be aware of it. 53 They urge you to hasten the punishment; and indeed hell has encompassed the disbelievers. 54 The day the punishment comes upon them from above and underneath their feet, (God will) say: "And now taste of what you had done." 55 O My servants who believe, surely My earth is wide; therefore Me do you serve! 56 Every soul shall taste death, and to Us you shall be returned. 57 Those who believe and do good works, them verily We shall house in lofty dwellings of the Garden underneath which rivers flow. There they will dwell secure. How sweet the guerdon of the toilers, 58 Those who are patient, and on their Lord do they rely. 59 There are many living creatures which do not carry their sustenance, but God provides them and you with sustenance. He is All-hearing and All-knowing. 60 If you asked them, "Who created the heavens and earth and subjected the sun and the moon?" they would surely say, "Allah." Then how are they deluded? 61 Allah enlarges the sustenance of any of His servants whom He will, and straitens the sustenance of whom He will. Surely Allah has knowledge of everything. 62 And thus it is: if thou ask them, "Who is it that sends down water from the skies, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless?" - they will surely answer, "God." Say thou: "[Since this is so,] all praise is due to God [alone]!" But most of them will not use their reason: 63
