▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,- 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Do you, then, take this discourse in light esteem, 81 do you make it your provision to belie it? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 and you are watching at that time 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 Then an entertainment of boiling water. 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
