The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By [the winds] that pluck out vehemently 1 by the angels who gently release the souls of the believers, 2 And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming 3 and vie with the others (in carrying out their Lord's behests); 4 and by the angels who regulate the affairs, (you will certainly be resurrected). 5 The day the convulsive (first blast) shatters convulsively 6 and will be followed by another quaking. 7 hearts upon that day shall be athrob 8 and their eyes shall be downcast with dread. 9 They say: shall we indeed be restored to the first state, 10 What! when we are rotten bones? 11 They say: that then shall be a losing return. 12 But it shall be only a single cry, 13 When lo! they shall be wakeful. 14 Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 15 Lo! His Sustainer called out to him in the twice-hallowed valley: 16 and directed him: “Go to Pharaoh, he has rebelled, 17 And say, "Hast thou the will to purify thyself; 18 and that I should guide thee to thy Lord, then thou shalt fear?"' 19 Then he shewed him the great sign. 20 But (the Pharaoh) disavowed and disobeyed. 21 and hastily turned away, 22 And assembled (his council) and proclaimed, 23 and said, "I am your Lord All-Highest!" 24 So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression]. 25 Lo! herein is indeed a lesson for him who feareth. 26

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
