Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 And the earth! thereafter He stretched it out. 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 but one who fears to stand before his Lord and restrained himself from base desires, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 Unto thy Lord is the Knowledge of the limit fixed therefor. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
