The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
