Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 And whoso doeth good an atom's weight will see it then, 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
