The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 But he whose deeds are lighter in the balance 8 Will have the Abyss for abode. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A fire hotly burning! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
