▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the fallings of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 78 Which none shall touch but those who are clean: 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 and that hour you are watching 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 why, if you are not at Our disposal, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 If he is among the near 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 and if he be a Companion of the Right: 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 its dwelling will be boiling water 93 and the roasting in Hell. 94 That indeed is the absolute truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
