Whoever works any act of righteousness and has faith,- His endeavour will not be rejected: We shall record it in his favour. 94 And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return 95 until such a time as Gog and Magog are let loose [upon the world] and swarm down from every corner [of the earth,] 96 And the certain promise (of Doom) comes near. Then the eyes of unbelievers will be fixed in horror, (and they will cry:) "Ah, woe betide, we were indeed heedless of this, and were oppressors and unjust." 97 [Then they will be told:] "Verily, you and all that you [were wont to] worship instead of God are but the fuel of hell: that is what you are destined for. 98 Had these been gods, they would not have gone down thereunto; and all of them therein shall be abiders. 99 For them therein shall be groaning and therein they shall not hear. 100 But those who have been promised a good reward by Us will be kept far away from Hell -- 101 They shall not hear the slightest sound of it (Hell), while they abide in that which their ownselves desire. 102 The Great Terror will bring them no grief: but the angels will meet them (with mutual greetings): "This is your Day,- (the Day) that ye were promised." 103 The Day that We roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books (completed),- even as We produced the first creation, so shall We produce a new one: a promise We have undertaken: truly shall We fulfil it. 104 AND, INDEED, after having exhorted [man,] We laid it down in all the books of divine wisdom that My righteous servants shall inherit the earth: 105 Verily there is a message in this for people who are devout. 106 We have sent you forth as nothing but mercy to people of the whole world. 107 Say: "It has but been revealed unto me that your God is the One and Only God: will you, then, surrender yourselves unto Him?" 108 But if they (disbelievers, idolaters, Jews, Christians, polytheists, etc.) turn away (from Islamic Monotheism) say (to them O Muhammad SAW): "I give you a notice (of war as) to be known to us all alike. And I know not whether that which you are promised (i.e. the torment or the Day of Resurrection) is near or far." 109 God knows well all that is spoken aloud and all that you hide. 110 I know not; haply it is a trial for you and an enjoyment for a time. 111 Say: "O my Sustainer! Judge Thou in truth!" - and [say]: "Our Sustainer is the Most Gracious, the One whose aid is ever to be sought against all your [attempts at] defining [Him]!" 112
