And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 Then the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood. 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 (Remember when) he came to his Lord with a pure heart; 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease). 90 Then he turned towards their gods and said: "Why do you not eat (of these offerings)? 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 even though God created both you and that which you have made?" 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him – We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son.” 100 So We gave him tidings of a gentle son. 101 And when he reached the age of traveling with him, he said: 'My son, while I was sleeping I saw that I shall slaughter (sacrifice) you, tell me what is your opinion' He replied: 'Father, do as you are ordered (by Allah). Allah willing, you shall find me one of those who are steadfast' 102 When they had surrendered, and he flung him upon his brow, 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 You have indeed shown the truth of the vision; surely thus do We reward the doers of good: 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 We ransomed his son with a great sacrifice 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113
