3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 So when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa cried out: Most surely we are being overtaken. 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe: 67 And indeed your Lord only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
