Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 When your Lord said to the angels: “Verily I am creating a human being from clay. 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 "And My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Judgment." 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 “Except Your chosen bondmen among them.” 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 I will fill up Hell with you together with those who follow you." 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
