The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ The Most Beneficent (Allah)! 1 has taught the Qur'an, 2 He created man 3 [And] taught him eloquence. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning. 5 And the grasses and the trees bow (to Him) in adoration. 6 And the heaven He has raised high, and He has set up the Balance. 7 That ye exceed not the measure, 8 and weigh with justice, and skimp not in the Balance.) 9 And the earth hath He appointed for (His) creatures, 10 There exists all kinds of fruits, palm-trees with sheathed blossoms, 11 the grain in the blade; and aromatic herbs. 12 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 13 He created man of clay like, unto pottery. 14 And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire. 15 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 16 Lord of the Two Easts, Lord of the Two Wests, 17 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 18 He has set the two oceans in motion, converging together. 19 but has created a barrier between them so that they will not merge totally. 20 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 21 From both of them emerge pearl and coral. 22 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 23 His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners. 24 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain you men and jinn then deny? 25

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
