Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 [on that Day] none will have [the benefit of] intercession unless he has [in his lifetime] entered into a bond with the Most Gracious. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 And how many a generation We destroyed before them! Dost thou perceive so much as one of them, or hear of them a whisper? 98
