To whoever We give a long life We make him stoop. Do they not understand? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 That it may give admonition to any (who are) alive, and that the charge may be proved against those who reject (Truth). 70 Are they, then, not aware that it is for them that We have created, among all the things which Our hands have wrought, the domestic animals of which they are [now] masters? 71 We have subdued these to them, and some of them they ride and some of them they eat; 72 And they have (other) benefits from them (besides), and they get (milk) to drink, will they not then be grateful? 73 They have set up other gods besides God, hoping to be helped by them, 74 They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning). 75 Let not their words grieve you. We have knowledge of all that they conceal and all that they reveal. 76 IS MAN, then, not aware that it is We who create him out of a [mere] drop of sperm - whereupon, lo! he shows himself endowed with the power to think and to argue? 77 And he propoundeth for us a similitude, and forgetteth his creation; he saith: who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed? 78 Say: "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life [once again,] seeing that He has full knowledge of every act of creation: 79 He who produces for you fire out of the green tree, so that, lo! you kindle [your fires] therewith." 80 Is He who created the heavens and the earth unable to create their like? Yes, indeed, He is the Creator, the Knower. 81 But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is. 82 All glory belongs to the One in whose hands is the control of all things. To Him you will all return. 83
