And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 Then, when they reached their meeting, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea, burrowing. 61 When they had passed over, he said to his page, 'Bring us our breakfast; indeed, we have encountered weariness from this our journey.' 62 He said: "You see, I forgot the fish on the rock where we had stopped. Only Satan made me forget to mention this; but the wonder is the fish escaped to the sea." 63 Said he, 'This is what we were seeking!' And so they returned upon their tracks, retracing them. 64 and found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed grace from Ourselves and unto whom We had imparted knowledge [issuing] from Ourselves. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?" 66 He said: verily thou wilt not be able to have with me patience; 67 "And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?" 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He said: "Well, if you follow me, do not ask me concerning anything until I myself mention it to you." 70

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
