In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 Then separate them one from another, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 That will be the Day of Reckoning. Gathered will be (you) and the earlier (generations). 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
