And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 And [when] they ask, "When is this promise [of resurrection] to be fulfilled? [Answer this, O you who believe in it,] if you are men of truth!" 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 And surely your Lord is the Lord of grace to men, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 You cannot make the dead hear, nor can you make the deaf hear your call, when they turn their backs on it, 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
