Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
