And for one who fears to stand before his Lord, are two Gardens. 46 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 47 Having in them various kinds. 48 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 49 In them (both) will be two springs flowing (free) 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 55 In them maidens with averted glances, undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 56 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 57 As though they were rubies and pearls. 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)? 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And besides these two, there are two other Gardens,- 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Dark green with foliage. 64 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates. 68 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 69 In them good and comely maidens -- 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Most Auspicious is the name of your Lord, the Most Majestic and the Most Honourable. 78
