The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who determined and guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
