Hizb 46
< random >
So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 When he ran to the laden ship, 140 And he drew lots and was among the losers. 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 He would certainly have tarried in its belly to the day when they are raised. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore in a state of sickness, 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 and they believed; so We gave them enjoyment for a while. 148 Then ask them whether your Lord has daughters and they have sons. 149 or is it that We have created the angels female, and they [who believe them to be divine] have witnessed [that act of creation]? 150 It is only because of their false invention that they say, 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 “Has he chosen daughters instead of sons?” 153 What is the matter with you that you make such strange judgements? 154 Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? 155 Or is there for you a plain authority? 156 Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. 157 And they have appointed a relationship between Him and the jinns; and indeed the jinns surely know that they will be brought forth. 158 God is too glorious to be described as they describe Him 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 You and whatever you worship 161 Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him. 162 except those who will burn in Hell. 163 And the angels say, “Each one of us has an appointed known position.” 164 And verily we! we are ranged in ranks. 165 and we glorify God". 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 'If only we had a reminder from the ancients, 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 They therefore denied it, so they will soon come to know. 170 And verily Our word went forth of old unto Our bondmen sent (to warn) 171 That they would be helped, 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 174 and watch them. They, too, will watch. 175 Do they wish (indeed) to hurry on our Punishment? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 And watch, for they will soon see. 179 Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 And praise to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
