And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
