Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 That is what We shall do to those who are guilty of crime. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 Till an appointed term, 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 wherein there is neither shade, nor freeing from the blazing flames 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
