The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
