Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 till you reached the grave. 2 Nay, in time you will come to understand! 3 Again, Nay! You shall come to know! 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 that you shall surely see Hell? 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 On that Day, you shall be questioned about the pleasures. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
