And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Indeed they are two of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
