We verily created man and We know what his soul whispereth to him, and We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 Lo, the agony of death has indeed come with the Truth. That is what you had sought to avoid. 19 And the trumpet is blown. This is the threatened Day. 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 (It will be said:) "Thou wast heedless of this; now have We removed thy veil, and sharp is thy sight this Day!" 22 His companion said: “Here is he who was in my charge.” 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 forbidder of good, transgressor and doubter, 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 "Do not argue in My presence. I had announced the promise of doom in advance. 28 The Word is not changed with Me; I wrong not My servants.' 29
