Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the graves are overturned. 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble recorders, 11 They know (and understand) all that ye do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 and the evil-doers will be in hell 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 And once again: What could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 18 The day on which no soul shall control anything for (another) soul; and the command on that day shall be entirely Allah's. 19
