The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And recites the name of his Lord and serves with devotion. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
