As for those who, after persecution, migrated from their homes for the cause of God, We will provide them with a goodly abode in this life: but truly the reward of the Hereafter will be greater, if they only knew it. 41 (It is they) who have exercised patience and trust in their Lord. 42 The Messengers whom We sent before you were mere mortals to whom We had sent with miracles and revelations. Ask those who know about the heavenly Books if you do not know about this. 43 Along with clear proofs and writings; and We have sent down this Remembrance towards you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) so that you may explain to mankind what has been revealed towards them, and that they may ponder. 44 Do they then who plan evil (deeds) feel secure (of this) that Allah will not cause the earth to swallow them or that punishment may not overtake them from whence they do not perceive? 45 or that He will not suddenly seize them while they are going about to and fro and they will be unable to frustrate His design, 46 Or that He may catch them with gradual wasting (of their wealth and health). Truly! Your Lord is indeed full of Kindness, Most Merciful? 47 Do they not see the shadows of all things God has created incline to the right and the left, bowing in obeisance to God? 48 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth, the cattle and the angels prostrate themselves before God without pride. 49 They hold their Lord, Who is above them, in fear, and do as they are bidden. ۩ 50
