And beware a Day whereon We will raise up from each community a witness, then those who have disbelieved will not be given leave, nor they will be permitted to please Allah. 84 And when those who are unjust shall see the chastisement, it shall not be lightened for them, nor shall they be respited. 85 When those who gave partners to Allah will see their "partners", they will say: "Our Lord! these are our 'partners,' those whom we used to invoke besides Thee." But they will throw back their word at them (and say): "Indeed ye are liars!" 86 On that Day they shall offer to submit to Allah, and what they forged will forsake them. 87 For those who disbelieve and debar (men) from the way of Allah, We add doom to doom because they wrought corruption, 88 (O Muhammad), warn them of the coming of a Day when We shall bring forth a witness against them from each community and We shall bring you forth as a witness against them all; (and it is for that purpose that) We sent down the Book to you which makes everything clear, and serves as a guidance and mercy and glad tidings to those who have submitted to Allah. 89
